Whitelist Application Format

Please copy and paste this format during your application process. Create your application post on the
Pending Applications page, with the following title formatting:
[Your Username]'s Application | [Character Name]

Only you and staff will be able to see your whitelist application.

Before Continuing:
If you are new to D&D and roleplay, or are new to the server and website, reading the The Realm of Lithria World Primer and the Stickied Character Creation Guides are mandatory. If you are new to 5th edition D&D, you can find all of the information relevant to play here. Do not apply without reading these posts or it will be rejected.

Rejected Applications
A rejected application will require the applicant to edit their application on the Pending Applications page (or to reply with their additional necessary information in the comments to their post). Applicants who are rejected three times will have their post locked, and they will need to make a new application in Pending Applications after a cooldown of one month has passed.

Applicants who do not reply to requests to fix their application will have their post locked after one week, as if they had received three rejections. They will need to wait a month to apply again, as normal. To prevent this cooldown from taking effect, please reach out to staff indicating that you need more time for your application, or intend to withdraw it. We will provide time extensions as necessary, assuming one continues to work on the application.

Requiring extra information, edited sheets, or other such advice does count as a rejection, so read our guide posts carefully.

Application Extensions
We understand that, sometimes, life can get in the way of focusing on your hobbies. In the interest of enabling applications and future play without stymieing a player to the one month cooldown, players can reach out to ask for an extension beyond the one week reply period. This extension will constitute another two weeks, after which point the application will be closed out without possibility for additional extension. If the player remains communicative through the process on their inability to apply, the locked post will not have a one month cooldown between their present and future application; elsewise, the rejection rules above apply as normal.

Roleplay scenario

rbqRxgb.png
You find yourself separated from your travel party during a rough blizzard in the world of Lithria. You're out of food, and the water in your leather bladder is frozen solid—however, you think you can see a small flicker of a flame at the very outskirts of your vision. You are unable to tell how close the fire is in these conditions, so the hike could be further than it looks. Part of you worries the light is a delusion, spurred on by cold and exhaustion from pushing through snow up to your knees; even so, you remember that your team left a trail of stones that will point you in the direction of the warm tavern you all left from. A surefire solution, perhaps, but the hike back down the mountain will be just as treacherous as moving forward in these conditions. You're left to ponder your available options; take the risk on the fire ahead and hope your senses aren't failing you, or take the much longer path back to safety and brave the cold through your constitution alone. What do you do?

Explain your decision in a roleplay fashion and get back to safety. Provide some evocative writing to your prompt; one sentence or otherwise poorly written replies will be rejected.

Note: Feel free to invent characters, world events, or plot points for the prompt if you need to—we won't hold it to you as a definitive part of your character or the world. We just want to see what you can do!
