You can find every mod, as well as the necessary mod loader, for download at the link above. As a reminder, you do not need to download every one of these mods—however, it is
STRONGLY recommended you download More Player Models at the least.
Installation To install the mods, you will need to open the same main folder as for installing resourcepacks.
For Windows Press the Windows Key+R, and type "%appdata%" and hit enter (You can also input this into the search bar, located in the start menu). Open the folder named ".minecraft" and open the folder named "mods".
For Mac Open Finder and navigate to "~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods". To access "~/Library/" on a Mac running MacOS 10.7 and above, switch to Finder, open the 'Go' Menu, and while holding down "⌥ Option", select 'Library'.
For Linux Type "~/.minecraft/mods/" in your file manager's address bar or in the console (If it is not showing up, press the three dots in the corner and make sure that the "show hidden files" box has a check next to it, then try again).
After doing this, drag the mods you wish to download into the folder. You
must put the forge file into this folder if you wish to download More Player Models or JourneyMap.
Once every mod is in the folder, double click the forge file. When the window pops up, leave "Install client" selected and press okay, then wait for it to finish. If you cannot get it to open, you likely will need to install Java. Java can be downloaded
here. Ensure you pick the version suitable for your Operating System.
After forge is installed, click and open the "OptiFine" file, then press "Install". It will install without showing a progress bar, then pop up a window when it is complete after a few seconds. This will also require Java to do.
When you've finished installing those two mods, open up your minecraft launcher. Navigate to "Installations" at the top of the page. Click "New Installation", name it whatever you like, and then select the "version" drop down menu. Ensure your version is set to "release 1.18.2-forge-40.1.86". The click "Create". Finally, go back to "Play", select the installation you just created in the bottom left, and hit play. It is normal for the launch to take some time to reach the main menu.
Congratulations! You're ready for the Realm of Lithria.
When you are installing mods, always ensure the mod folder is clear of any mods that are incompatible. This would include mods made for the fabric mod loader, or mods for a version of minecraft that isn't 1.18.2. Otherwise, your game will crash on startup.
